Following their successful outing at the International Defensive Pistol Association African championships at the Kirigiti shooting Range, Team Kenya now heads out for the United States National championships, which are the global shooting championships.
The Tier 5 match presented by Beretta kicks off on 22nd-25th September at the Cameo Shooting and Education Complex in Palisade, Colorado.
Five members of the team are already in the US for pre-event training and venue familiarization. Master Eric Wachira – ESP MA, Master Sammy Onyango- ESP MA, Geoffrey Pesa – PCC EX, Paul Maina – SSP SS, Peter Njoroge – CCP SS and John Njenga – SSP will contest 18 stages, featuring at least 274 rounds.
The event, usually the highlight of the IDPA year, was scheduled to take place on 23rd – 26th September 2020 but was postponed to this year due to the covid19 pandemic.
