Popular Harambee Stars, AFC Leopards fan Isaac Juma is dead, his wife Farida saying he was hacked to death in Mumias, Kakamega, over a land dispute.
Juma is Kenya’s most identifiable soccer fan and always stands out in his signature attire during all national team matches and games involving his boyhood club – AFC Leopards.
“I have learnt of Juma’s death with profound shock and disbelief,” FKF Presidential aspirant Milton Nyakundi said in his condolence message.
“Juma called me on Saturday and wished me well in my bid to be President of the federation as he reminisced some of the memorable times we have had traveling with him for away matches of the Harambee Stars. He told he was in Mumias and I invited him to Nairobi soonest he gets the chance to we have a cup of tea.
“Little did I know he was saying goodbye. Rest in Peace my brother.”
There has been an outpouring of tributes to the fallen Kenyan football fan.
