FC Talanta are guaranteed to play in next season’s Football Kenya Federation Premier League following their successful promotion to the top-flight with two rounds of matches left to play.
Talanta were crowned National Super League champions after edging relegation-bound Soy United 2-1 in Nairobi.
Sebi Mohammed grabbed a brace to seal Talanta’s rise to the premier league to hand Coach Ken Kenyatta a return in the Premier League next season.
Fortune Sacco, currently second on the log, can only reach a maximum of 65 points to guarantee that their promotion but only if they win their remaining matches.
The battle for the play-off spot is on, involving Kisumu All Stars, Kibera Black Stars, Kenya Police and Vihiga Bullets all in the mix.
