Kenya’s Emerging Stars have left the country for Ethiopia for the CECAFA U23 challenge which kicks if in Bahir Dar this weekend.
The team is coached by Stanley Okumbi and skippered by Wazito’s Bernard Ochieng who is one of the three over-age players allowed into the squad.
Tusker’s Boniface Muchiri and Kakamega Homeboyz’s David Odhiambo are the two overage players in the squad.
Kenya is pooled alongside Djibouti and South Sudan in the group stages.
