According to reports emanating from Germany, Bayern Munich is ready to sign Paris St. Germain teenage sensation Tanguy Kouassi. The youngster who is a center back has reportedly agreed on a deal in principle to join the Bavarians amidst interest from several European clubs. He has allegedly signed a five-year contract at the Allianz Arena.
18-year old Kouassi, whose natural position is at the heart of the defense, but his versatility as a central defensive midfielder which has made him irresistible to the Bundesliga champions is what attracts the Bayern hierarchy the most.
Kouassi has made 13 appearances in the PSG first ream this season with three goals and an assist to his ranks.
After his contract expiration, the bosses at PSG were unable to make him sign a contract extension as his mind is already elsewhere. Further reports have confirmed Bayern will have to pay only €300,000 as a training fee to the French capital club as compensation.
PSG boss Thomas Tuchel has heaped massive praise on the 18 years old saying he has great potential to be a world-class defender.
This might be the first time german faithful and fans all over might be hearing his name, but the teenage french defender is a top talent and is admired by the Bayern board.
Bayern sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic has been keeping tabs on Kouassi for a while, but he will be glad he could finally get his hands on his target. Kouassi will join other teenage stars like Joshua Zirkzee, who has already made his way into the first team and hope to excel in the squad.
