Before visiting Burnley, Cadiz will play three more friendlies. The first two, at the Marbella Football Center, where the squad is working.
So far this pre-season, the club has had no significant surprises and has shown a good performance.
The only concern for boss Alvaro Cervera was Anthony ¨Choco¨ Lozano, who suffered patellar tendonitis in the friendly game against Linese on July 21.
The Honduran was injured after colliding with a rival player while disputing the ball. The club’s doctors were a bit worried at first, but finally, the injury was not severe, and after a few days of recovery, the player is ready to return to the field.
In fact, Lozano already participated in regular training sessions with his teammates on Tuesday, July 27, although he did not take part in the game played by the club against U.D. Las Palmas.
It is important to note that Lozano has been working more on his wing play during the training sessions.
Since the end of last season, Cervera changed the player from his natural striker position and placed him as a winger.
Cevera wants the Honduran to be more versatile and to be able to play in different positions. Something that is important for the club as they want to keep their roster compact for next season.
